Code Club

The ACE Cardiff Code Club is a weekly session to teach children the basics of writing computer code.

We use materials provided by the Raspberry Pi Foundation supported by experienced volunteers to help children discover the fun of coding.

At ACE Cardiff’s Code Club, we’re all about sparking curiosity and making learning fun by introducing children to the exciting world of coding.

Coding isn’t just for future computer programmers—it helps kids develop problem-solving and logical thinking skills, starting with simple concepts that don’t require any prior knowledge of coding.

We use fun materials from The Raspberry Pi Foundation, from the beginning of their journey with the Scratch app, which is perfect for beginners. As they gain confidence and understanding, they’ll move on to Python, a popular coding language.

Scratch is also free online, so parents can join in and learn alongside their children at home!
